Members receive up to $15,000 if they are hospitalized as a result of an accident. If a member or his or her dependent experiences a covered Accident and is admitted to the hospital, the member will receive a $500 benefit per day for each day after a 3-day hospital stay. The maximum number of days to receive this benefit is 30 days per year. This benefit can be used towards the out pocket cost associated with a hospital confinement and is paid regardless of any other insurance the member has for the hospitalization.
